   Prep- Class:
Begin with a Mandatory Orientation which includes registration, pre-test, and introduction to the GED course ~Last orientation this semester: May 28,29,30
Arrive on scheduled days at 8:30 to begin orientation.

  • AT: Hauke High School 701 N. 3rd Street, Conroe 77301
 TAKE a pre- test (TABE) which is included during the Orientation
  • SCORE : 567 or better on the TABE Reading AND begin prep classes
  • ATTEND: daily classes after the orientation is complete: 8:30-11:30 AM only.
  • SUMMER Session Begins June 11-July 11, 2013 Monday -Friday
  • BRING: a notebook and a pen / pencil each day
  • Also, must have;
18 years: a government (national or foreign) issued photo ID and SS card

17 years:     *copy of the withdrawl form from the last high school you attended
                     *signed permission form from your parents/guardians
                     * Have a government (national or foreign) issued photo ID;

16 years:    *MUST PRESENT an original court order document
                   * Have a government (national or foreign) issued photo ID;

NOTE: once you complete the orientation, the prep- class AND make a 500 on each OFFICIAL practice test THEN
REGISTER for the next available GED EXAM:
                
*****YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE ACTUAL GED EXAM IN PERSON
7 to 10 days before the EXAM date*****by appointment
Bring your Gov't Issued ID and SS Card (if applicable) to register-and on exam DAY
      ON GED EXAM day remember:
- bring a current Texas Driver’s License or
  •  Gov't issue Identification Card, and a SS card ( if you have a SS number)
  •   BE ON TIME which is 9:00 AM BOTH DAYS
  •  GED EXAM fee is $100.00, however this cost is waived if you are 17-21 and have completed the prep-class including Orientation, daily Prep classes, PLUS the Official Practice Test
  • Believe in yourself : this is a new beginning
